Places of Interest
Wat Pho: Harbouring a fascinating collection of murals, view inscriptions and sculptures that explore warfare to astronomy to archaeology. And see a gigantic reclining Bhudda.
The Grand Palace and Wat Prakaew: This palace commands respect from all who have walked in their sacred grounds,beautiful architecture and intricate detail. Full of grandeur and authenticity.
The impressive silhouette of Wat Arun: View the towering spires- one of the most recognised in Southeast Asia with a unique glazed porcelain coating which is totally stunning.
The waterways: Like an exotic Venice, experience the scenic areas; the riverside reflects a constantly changing scene day and night: water-taxis and heavily laden rice barges chugging upstream, set against a backdrop of glittering temples and luxury hotels.
Jim Thompson House: Holding three decades of dedication to the revival of Thai silk, it features rare dying art and antiques.

Eat Me: The name although obvious, is incredibly attractive. This gallery and restaurant on Soi Convent in Silom lives up to its name by serving mouth-watering modern international food, good drinks and some very tasty desserts.
Sra Bua: Fine-dining restaurant that serves cutting edge Thai cuisine unlike any you will have ever seen before. Well-known Thai favourites have been turned inside out, and every dish is a treat for the eyes – as well as the taste buds.
The Rooftop Bars: Breathtaking vistas merge with stunning crowds at this higher breed of open-air bar. View the fabulous lights of Bangkok as the sky lights up.
Bangkok ladyboy show: The flamboyant costumes, spectacular sets and crazy musical tributes to the female form, will leave you dazzled by the performances and jealous that they’re more glam than you.
Red Light District: For pole-swinging temptresses, exotic boy-meets-girl creations and certainly not a place to hide head here for one of Bangkok’s lust-driven dens of sin.
Demo Club: Bare brick walls covered in graffiti, exposed piping and pumping house and electro music; has to be one of the coolest clubs around, with an East End-London vibe.
DND Bar and Club: One of the newer additions, DND Club features an eye-catching motel theme, with local DJs pumping out the bass-heavy EDM six nights a week.

Floating markets: Damnoen Saduak brings dozens of wooden row boats floating by with vegetables and flowers full in vessels with cauldrons and charcoal grills, ready to whip up a bowl of ‘boat noodle’ or seafood skewers upon request.
Chinatown: Colourful, exotic and pleasingly chaotic area, packed with market stalls and probably the highest concentration of gold shops in the city.
Night markets: Offering great after dark shopping opportunities – and incredible bargains in the moonlight. Visit the unique Patpong Night Market.
