Stranded 2014
The Fans Group and Your Friends House will be presenting a new spring/summer festival series, with a debut on South Stradbroke Island on 21st September 2014. Across four dates, Stranded will offer a different line-up to ticket-holders, with a production to be remembered during a festival to kick off the summer months.
The line-up promises an eclectic array of Australian and international talent from rappers to DJs. Performing on the pristine sands of Queensland’s South Stradbroke Island will be the brilliant Alison Wonderland, Allday, SAFIA, and Client Liaison. Brisbane lad, Young Franco, will also be taking to the stage, as well as Gold Coast sensation, Paces, UK duo, DE$iGNATED, and Promnite, all the way from the USA.
Come to the party by buying your ticket at Moshtix, where Early Birds are available now for $45 + booking fee! Meanwhile, check out some of the artists that will be hitting the stage below.
Alison Wonderland

Remixing the likes of Little Dragon and Sam Sparro, Alison Wonderland is the female DJ rivalling everyone else in the business for booty-shaking bangers. Stylish and captivating works are made available on Alice’s ‘Calm Down EP’, which is quite literally made for festivals on the beach. Also chosen to play to the crowds at Stereosonic, this chick is worth seeing just for the name, but makes you stay for her impeccable beats.
Allday

Melbourne-based rapper, Allday, released his debut album ‘Startup Cult’ in July, just three years after he first started posting music online. Reaching the top three in the ARIA charts, the October album tour is already sold out in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, cementing Allday as one of the acts to watch live this year and thus a massive draw to music-lovers to head to Stranded.
Young Franco

Someone with a bright future drenched in basslines and funk is Young Franco, a mighty Disco DJ and producer who’s barely out of his teens. He has achieved support from the likes of Motez, who called him a “breath of fresh air” and Peking Duk, who described him as “funk, sex and glamour”. With the ‘FUTUREFUNK EP’ out now, see for yourself what all the fuss is about at Stranded on 21st September.
