Sugar Mountain 2016 Boiler Room Line-up
Attention music lovers! Sugar Mountain, known as Melbourne’s most progressive music and arts festival, just revealed the full stage and broadcast line-up for the Bacardi x Boiler Room stage.
Boiler Room, the home of underground music, will host a collaborative stage with Bacardi at Sugar Mountain 2016. The stage will see live broadcast sets from Tim Sweeny, the founder of the Beats in Space label, Tom Trago, a Dutch DJ, producer and live performer, Jnett, a DJ from Melbourne, and Laila Sakini, one of the scene’s must-see DJs.
And there is more! German producer Florian Kupfer, who comes from the lo-fi end of the techno spectrum, decided to join the party. Closing festivities on the Bacardi x Boiler Room stage is Julio Bashmore, a Bristol-born house producer.
In just five years Boiler Room has woven itself into the fabric of dance music culture, boasting an impressive catalogue of live sets from the likes of Jamie XX, Thom Yorke, Chet Faker and Richie Hawtin. Bacardi now aligns with one of underground music’s most enduring brands to pick up where Soul Clap, Nick Monaco and more left off at Sugar Mountain 2015. In the stunning idyllic outdoor setting, it’s no surprise that this is one of the most talked-about stages at Sugar Mountain.
