Summer Heart’ New Track Sleep

Perhaps it’s a reaction to those long winter nights, but Scandinavian pop seems to be infused with a rare sense of sunshine. Swedish-based artist Summer Heart is a case in point – it’s even in his name. A rising songwriter, his work has a sense of feeling bliss and a renewed innocence and is Swedish lo-fi at it’s best.

The new track Sleep is a three-minute gem of heavenly melodies and captivating harmonies that are littered with synth magic that drifts in a fluid fashion. Vocals layer the track in a gauzy haze of dappled sunshine. Summer Heart has created a beautifully conceived piece of work that showcases his talents as a songwriter.

Summer Heart is currently getting a lot of support from press and radio including The Guardian who referred to his last single as “the band’s coup d’état”.

New single Sleep drops on November 20th, accompanied by a flurry of dates both in the UK and Europe. It seems Summer Heart is ready push his head out even further than his contemporaries with the release of Sleep and the delivery of new material, early next year.
