Surry Hills Festival 2012
Surry Hills Festival is a day brimming with entertainment, music, art and infectious warm community vibes. A major fundraiser for the Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre, the festival provides the support that keep the centre alive and supplying a range of vital services to the community. The donations you give also help pay for this much-loved day festival.
There is something here for everyone. An abundance of art is what makes Surry Hills such a fun, creative area of good old Sydney, and you’ll find installation, interactive and street art amongst other creative disciplines. Family and kids activities such as face-painting and entertainers will be present, aside and workshops such as The Healing Teepees, where you can go and take part in spiritual, healing stretching exercise… Or you can grab some beers and have a bloody great time enjoying the stella line-up of music they’ve arranged!
