This firm is renowned for their promotion of work/life balance and currently have a fantastic career opportunity for a Legal Secretary looking to join their high performing Commercial Litigation team!

THE ROLE

Supporting a highly regarded Partner, this role will involve duties which include but are not limited to:

• Managing diaries and scheduling appointments
• Liaising with high profile clients
• Processing billing
• Amending documents, briefs and court documents
• Communicating professionally and effectively with clients and colleague across multiple levels
• Managing incoming and outgoing phone calls
• Assisting with telephone enquiries
• Opening and closing files
• Maintaining an effective filing system
• Preparing documents and letters
• Maintaining strict confidentiality

THE CANDIDATE

To be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Legal Secretary within Litigation
• Intermediate to Advanced MS Office skills
• A fast and accurate typing speed (65wpm +)
• Experience with billing
• Confidence liaising with high profile clients
• Professional personal presentation
• Attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic
• High levels of organisation and the ability to prioritise
• A positive and friendly attitude with a willingness to learn
• The ability to work well in a team
• Initiative to work autonomously when required
