You are:
You are a UX/CX researcher passionate about research and exploring the user journey through online platforms. You’ll have a solid background with ethnographic study and keep the product team hands-on (attending interviews, if possible), so they can internalize the process and findings of the research.
To be the right cultural & team fit, you’ll be hard-working, personable & switched-on with excellent communication skills. You’ll be supporting roles across multiple projects, working with the development teams on a wide range of projects with strict deadlines.
As a UX/CX Researcher, you will be working as part of a self-organising team, with your responsibilities including establishing demographics segments and distribution. While also coordinating and conducing in-depthethnographic research both in-house and in the field.

They are a small health organisation, currently on the upswing and undergoing a large digital upgrade with lots of technology programs underway. With modern offices in the city, they invest heavily in their staff and focus on career growth & continual upskilling, even for contractors.
The organisation is experience rapid growth both domestically and internationally through there user base. Most of the staff have personal experience within the disability and heath sector, but the business would to do a formal research and analysis to break down and synthesize all of the anecdotal knowledge.
Your Duties:
- Responsible for conducting research (collecting and analysing)
- Working with the larger team (engineers, product engineers, etc.) to take to the next level
- Creating impactful and meaningful presentations
- Working on problems of diverse scope
- Interacting with other engineers across the globe to resolve issues
- Focus on providing qualitative research, experience is essential
- Qualitative Research – i.e. user ability studies, going in to the field to complete studies, etc.
- UX experience in an industry context (not academic context) i.e. tech/working with product team.
Skills / Experience
- Strong understanding of strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during each product phase.
- Excellent working knowledge of statistics and the principles of experiment design
- Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to operate in a very fast-paced environment
- A deep desire to apply design toward expanding what’s possible and improving the world.
