Sydney Pop Pioneers Pear Shape Release ‘Righteousness’ through Major Label
With the silly season well and truly in swing, MAJOR LABEL are turning the summer vibes up to 11 with their January 2012 release ‘Righteousness’ by Sydney based pop players Pear Shape.
Featuring members from Joysticks, Indigo Rising, Bridezilla & The Death Set, this band of banana-bearing brothers know their way around a solid pop tune and always aim to entertain.
Pear Shape have only been playing together for a year, and already have an impressive resume under their belts that includies support slots for jungle-rockers Jinja Safari as well as UK based Indie darlings WU LYF.
Lead singer of Pear Shape Tom Riordan, describes the new track as “country-influenced pop, with honest diary style lyrics.” A must have for your summer play list, Pear Shape’s music goes hand in hand with a Hawaiian print shirt, an ice cold beer and freshly cut pineapple.
