Tales in Space at Espy Front Bar- Saturday 12th October 2013
On Saturday 12th October 2013 something very exciting is happening down at the Espy Front Bar in Melbourne… Sydney duo ‘Tales in Space’ will be performing for you lovely lot for free! Containing only two members, this Electro-Dynamo-Pomo-Disco Rock band create an electric sound through the use of all sorts of devices from keyboards to loops whilst maintaining a strong base of guitars and drums.
Their first single ‘Shades’ has been hugely successful and has caught the attention of many music fans and the media. Triple J has even featured a full rotation on the band and they feature on community radio nationally, they’ve done very well for themselves to say the least! This success quickly led to another when they released an instrumental tune ‘Starwars’, the crazed science inspired video received a SMAC nomination this year for ‘Best on Screen’ and no wonder, it’s absolutely brilliant!
Tales in Space decided to have a go as covering Adele’s ‘Rolling in the Deep’ which did so well that it was featured on Ministry of Sounds ‘Uncovered’ Compilation, pretty impressive! Their latest cover of Fleet Foxes ‘White Winter Hymnal’ also appeared on the compilation. Go check them out!
Having performed at a variety of festivals this year including Fuse Festival, Lovejam Festival and Bondi Music Festival to name a few, their live sets left the crowd energised and entertained. Therefore it’s inevitable that their live performance down at the Espy Front Bar will be incredible.
Tales in Space will perform live with special guests Lamarama, Red X and Jack Stirling. Don’t miss out!
