The Ape To Perform at Ding Dong Lounge – Friday 11th October 2013
Legendary foursome The Ape as they launch their new album at the Ding Dong Lounge on Friday 11th October 2013. The band, consisting of rock God guitarist Raul Sanchez, drummer Gus Agars, bassist and pianist Pat Bourke and Tex Perkins on vocals and guitar.
Vocalist and guitarist Tex Perkins comments on making the album, “The Ape is the album I was born to make. It is the album that Richie – the president of the Tex Perkins fan club -has been waiting for. It is an album bursting with swing and grunt, and is easily the best thing I have ever done, or ever will do.”
Their new album ‘Crawl Back’ will be released on 4th October so the event will be the best place to experience their tracks live.
