Everyone’s favourite hangout in Redfern, The Bat & Ball is a bar and diner with great grub at incredible value and a must-see sport and music scene, for which the month of January will not disappoint.

On Monday, diners can devour a homemade pie for just $10, or get one with a pint on Tuesday for an extra $5. Steak-lovers will be in heaven with the $12 300gm sirloin steak on Wednesday, and may even want to return on Thursday for the $12 choice-of-three schnitzel meal special.

Those celebrating the start of the weekend can do so with fish & chips for just $12 on Friday, enjoy Super Sport Saturdays with $12 burger & chips (upgrade to the Big Boy for an extra $3), and then finish off the weekend with their special Sunday roast, just $15 with all the trimmings.

If you’re here for The Ashes, The Bat & Ball will be serving Ploughman’s Lunch with a pint for only $15 until the series finishes.
