The Best Of Both Sides Festival, Bimbo Deluxe & Lucky Coq 2nd-8th April 2012Check out The Best Of Both Sides Festival with Bimbo Deluxe and Lucky Coq from 2nd-8th April 2012. Worlds will collide, glasses will clink and beer will spill when North and South reunite once more for just seven spectacular days in April. Like Medicins Sans Frontieres of the social and music scene, Bimbo Deluxe and Lucky Coq will ignore boundaries and cross borders to bring Melbourne the altruistic Easter party aid it truly deserves…THE BEST OF BOTH SIDES.

Four (anti)battle grounds will be built across two venues to showcase more than fifty acts demonstrating the finest local talent and best electronic artists that Melbourne has to offer. Over seven jam packed days of live music, awesome giveaways and food and drink specials, Melbourne will witness history once again as social perimeters are blurred and music lovers join forces to party the Easter holiday away. In addition, the social unity will be staunchly facilitated by the famous Boags Bus providing free transport over the Yarra river and between the grounds ensuring seamless diplomacy.

This year MTC, Chameleon Records, Suck Music, Tickled Pink, 100 Phat and Mixed Messages are among the first to supply the heavy artillery with many more secret weapons yet to be announced. Their talented troupes will blow minds and all senses as their performances are taken to the next level supported by a cranked up superior audio and visual display. Allen and Heath’s knock out sound systems will be enhanced by some of Melbourne’s most incredible live artists and VJs visually bringing the music to life. Bring your sunnies, it’s gonna get wild. The full experience would not be complete of course without the hero $4 pizzas baking all day and night to satisfy hungry civilians and tonnes of beverage specials to quench thirsts in the trenches. And if that wasn’t enough, honorable crowds will be acknowledged and ceremoniously rewarded with prizes including giveaways from Audio Technica, Boags and the Colonial Brewery in Margaret River. One lucky soldier may even win a trip to Tassie! Between commencement of the history making event at the opening party on the 2nd through to the PBS FM hosted closing party on the 8th, it can be assured that every sense of every will be pleasurable exhausted.

Not an ear will be left unstimulated, nor a palate dry. Neither an eye not tantalized nor a belly unsatisfied. No one will lose. This is THE BEST OF BOTH SIDES.
