The Best Of David Guetta 2015

Follow us on Google News

As we prepare for David Guetta to take over One Night In Melbourne on 2nd November, we take a look at what the biggest DJ in the world has been up to so far this year…

Listen

Guetta entered 2015 following the release of his sixth studio album, ‘Listen’. A record he credited as being his most personal yet, it had more soul and emotion than its predecessors, ‘One Love’ and ‘Nothing But The Beat’. This was particularly demonstrated with his choice of guest vocalists on the albums, which include, John Legend, The Script, Ryan Tedder, Birdy, and Emeli Sande.

Hey Mama Featuring Nicki Minaj, Bebe Rexha & Afrojack

Of course, there are still some heavy-hitting club floor bangers on the album. On 17th March, Guetta released ‘Hey Mama’ featuring sassy American rapper, Nicki Minaj. With an incredibly sexy hook provided by Rexha, this was clearly Guetta’s musical contribution to twerking.

Miami Ultra Music Festival 2015

Renowned for his live show, Guetta took to one of the biggest festivals in the world for an epic set at Ultra Music. Every single beat-drop, flashing blub, siren, flame and drop of water combined made it one of the biggest sets of 2015 including over 24 million views of YouTube.

Summer in Ibiza

From 28th May – 1st October, Guetta returned to the European party island of Ibiza for a summer residency at Pacha for FMIF (F*** Me I’m Famous). The series saw the French DJ bring some of his most famous and highly respected friends in the DJ world to Pacha Ibiza, including Robin Schulz, Showtek, Nicky Romero, Glowinthedark and more.

David Guetta will continue his already incredible 2015 with One Night in Melbourne on 2nd November. Tickets are available now at $91.65 + booking fee from ticketek.com.au
