The Bondi FM Café is the first radio station/café/bar in Australia. The aim of the station, when it moved venues in 2009, was to let listeners hang out and watch shows being broadcast live. The studio is set in the heart of the café, where the audience can chose from a range of beers, cocktails and spirits and set themselves down on a deckchair or a cushion and enjoy the show with friends.

The atmosphere here is so relaxed that you may forget about the beach as you sip from your $25 jug of Sangria or Pimms. The drinks here are not fancy or delicate, but they are good value for money. The range of food isn’t too bad either, with muffins, pitzas (pita pizzas) and Mauritian curry all on the menu.

If you’re looking for somewhere to chill out with good music, then go to The Bondi FM Café. However, with closing time being 11pm Tuesday – Saturday and 10pm on Sundays, you won’t be able to stay too late.
