The Foundry, New Music Venue In Brisbane

Complete with a live room, bar, multiple rehearsal studios, and even rooms for touring bands to kip for the night, The Foundry looks set to be the most exciting new music venue in Brisbane when it opens in March.

Located in Fortitude Valley, the creative hub aims to become the heart of the music industry in Brisbane, following the likes of The Standard Bowl, Vic On The Park and Tokyo Sing Song in Sydney, and with two levels, there’s scope for big things in this space. The whole concept is created by musicians for musicians, with no stone unturned, so there’s an entire floor just for Brisbane’s booking agents, publicists, street press and blogs, as well as free Wi-Fi for tenants and the option to dress up the studios as they please.

Supporting the local music scene is obviously important to this venue, as well as providing entertainment for the public in the way of the live room big enough to fit 300 people, a beer garden and pool tables.
