The Gold Coast’s Best Beaches
The Gold Coast is an idyllic part of Australia, packed full to the brim with entertainment, but one of its most exquisite features is its incredible coastline and pristine beaches – it ain’t called the Gold Coast for nothin’!
Currumbin
Currumbin is an active coastal haven where you can get your water sports and hiking fixes. Take advantage of the Currumbin Creek waterway where stunning rainforested mountains meet the open golden sands of the coast.
Coolangatta
Coolangatta sports some of the best swimming conditions in the Gold Coast. With Greenmount Beach and Rainbow Bay being the Gold Coast’s only north facing beaches it provides perfectly sheltered conditions for a dip in the ocean. You may also be in with a chance of spotting whales from Snapper Rocks during their annual migration from May – October.
Kirra
Kirra – a beachside suburb of the Gold Coast, is famous for being one of the world’s best surf breaks. A short walk from the beach you’ll find the Kirra Tourist Park, which also borders New South Wales. The Tourist Park is the perfect place to learn how to surf, and is also home to the first surf club in Queensland!
