The Kooks Announce New Track ‘Down’

Brighton Indie Rock boys The Kooks have taken a drastic change in direction with their news single ‘Down’.

Just 30 minutes after being revealed on Tuesday evening, the track shot to over 8,000 listens on SoundCloud and a mountain of responsive tweets lead to the band trending on Twitter.

On the new track, the lead and curly haired heart throb Luke Pritchard, teamed up with Hip-Hop producer Inflo in the tracks writing and formation.

Unlike their usual guitar based, Rock sound, ‘Down’ takes on looped hooks with a funky, addictive, feel-good mood.

The LA and London recorded single is out 21st March on Virgin/EMI.
