The MCA Clothing Exchange Event

It’s time to revamp your wardrobe with a trip to The Museum of Contemporary Arts this week.

In collaboration with The Clothing Exchange, the MCA is hosting a mass swapping event and it’s absolutely free. Just bring up to ten pieces of clothing or accessories that you no longer want and you can swap them for some new clobber.

Better yet, if you turn up at one of the designated ‘early bird’ check-in times, you will be able to gain early access to the swap 30 minutes before anyone else.

There are quality guidelines in check so you can’t bring anything dirty, smelly or damaged, but this means you won’t receive anything with poor quality either.

This fun event is good fun, especially for those who are eco-friendly and want to take part in sustainability. There’s also a slight thrill in the possibility of finding a vintage piece, so grab your friends and keep an eye out!

The main event: Sunday 22 July, 11am – 5pm

The early bird drop off times:
Wednesday 18 July, 12-1.30pm
Thursday 19 July, 12-1.30pm and 5.30-7.00pm
Friday 20 July, 12-1.30pm
