The Red Paintings, Lurch & Chief and The Corsairs At Ding Dong – Thursday 13th – Saturday 15th September

The Red Paintings return to the Australian stage this September for a series of intimate gigs, and Ding Dong in Melbourne are lucky enough to be hosting them. The tour ‘Chinese Whispers’ tour will see them performing songs from their upcoming album ‘The Revolution Is Never Coming’. In a art-meets-music twist the band will encourage people to join them on stage and express their individual feelings about human neglect of natural resources, through the medium of paint.

Lurch & Chief, the mastermind of Alex Trevisan & Hayden Somerville, started life from a jam session. Having enlisted four others, the now six piece band have played shows around Melbourne and are now proud to launch their first single. They will be supporting The Red Lights & Agility.

The Corsairs are a genre busting Garage/ Surf/ Rock band who formed at the start of 2011. They have the ability to get people up and moving with their live performances which are full of energy, yet their tunes are equally chilled enough to be the perfect summer night soundtrack.
