The Social Festival 2016 Phase One Announcement

The Social Festival returns on Friday 9th & Saturday 10th September 2016 to it’s new home, The Kent County Showground.

The Social Festival 2016 is the first two day event in it’s history and not only that, they have also introduced a very exclusive boutique camp site for loyal customers!

On the Friday, festival goers will get a blast from the past with Sasha & John Digweed at the fourth edition of The Social Festival to headline the Meadow Arena, hosted by Mixmag.

Digweed says: “Its been incredible to see the reaction from our unannounced back to back gig in London last month which took everyone by surprise, so our planned B2B set this September at The Social is set to be a massive not to be missed event in the clubland calendar.”

CARL COX ANNOUNCED AS DAY TWO HEADLINER

The following day will see the return of techno heavyweight Carl Cox, headlining the festival for the second time.

Talking about Carl Cox’s addition to the lineup, festival director Nic Fanciulli said: “My relationship with Carl Cox is quite a public affair, most people know the ins and outs of how close we are, and I really owe a lot to him. Playing b2b with him so many times over the years is something I will never take for granted, and he remains the biggest inspiration for me as a DJ. I’m super excited that my mentor, and one of my closest friends is headlining Saturday for us.”
