Having recently finished touring with Gossling on her Intentional Living tour, Hayden Calnin will be getting straight back into it opening Matt Corby’s sold out Melbourne shows at The Forum Theatre as well as supporting Beautiful Girls frontman Mat McHugh at The Standard in Sydney and The Corner Hotel in Melbourne, all within the first week of June!

Make sure you get a chance to catch Hayden Calnin’s captivating live performance during this Month long residency.

Chapter Music is excited to announce a new addition to its world-renowned stable of Australian pop auteurs. Standish/Carlyon is the new duo project for Conrad Standish and Tom Carlyon, both formerly of suave rock-noir outfit Devastations. Returning to Melbourne after a number of years based in London, the duo unveil their futurist dub pop with a Tuesday residency at the Toff In Town in July.

With his new album The Sparrow due for release July 13th, Spunk Records is pleased to announce that Lawrence Arabia will be performing an album preview show at Melbourne’s the Toff In Town.

The Sparrow is Arabia’s third solo album – the evocative follow up to his Taite Music Prize, Silver Scroll awarded Chant Darling, released in 2009. Written across his travels in New York and London, and recorded live at a home-studio in Surrey, it draws on the symphonic sounds of Scott Walker and Serge Gainsbourg – wide, open pop songs, set to Arabia’s charming turn of phrase.

It is the first time Lawrence Arabia has been in Australia since 2009.

Clubfeet are excited to announce their first ever live shows in their adopted Australian homeland with a national tour in July. The Melbourne (via Cape Town) five-piece have been the subject of much worldwide chatter over the past twelve months, where they’ve been labeled as one of the hottest young prospects from this corner of the world.

Melbourne dark synth heavyweights The Night Terrors emerge from the depths of the studio to launch their brand new double A-side 12″ Monster / Lasers for Eyes on OSCL Records.

Monster / Lasers for Eyes is the first glimpse of the Night Terrors new album Spiral Vortex – moving beyond the post-prog stylings of their earlier work to focus on a broader universe of warped psychedelic electronics and the darker corners of the dancefloor.

The Night Terrors launch their new 12″ on Saturday the 7th of July at the Toff in Town, Melbourne, with support from local goth / EBM sensation Forces and a special improvised audiovisual set by Ash Wednesday.

What: GEORGIA FAIR ‘Blind’ Single Launch with special guests DIRT FARMER and EMMA RUSSACK
When: Thursday 12 July 7:30pm

Following on from touring with Lisa Mitchell, Georgia Fair announce the release of their latest single, Blind. Taken from the band’s debut album, All Through Winter, the track, which features Band Of Horses’ Tyler Ramsay on piano, is a favourite of both the band and audiences alike. “I always get lost in this song,” Georgia Fair’s

The band have been busy since the release of the album, sharing stages with the likes of Boy & Bear, Busby Marou, The Panics and very shortly the aforementioned Lisa Mitchell. They are now set to play two very special shows to celebrate the launch of the new single Blind, in Sydney on Friday 6th July at the Standard, and in Melbourne on Thursday 12th July at The Toff.
