
Theatrical Easter Tipsy Tea At Mr Fogg’s Tavern
On Easter Sunday, 27th March, Mr Fogg’s Tavern will be hosting Aunt Gertrude’s Theatrical Tipsy Tea. Forget the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party. This is on another level.
Hosted upstairs in the Gin Parlour and Salon, Aunt Gertrude’s Theatrical Tipsy Tea will thrill those with an appetite for indulgence. Guests can look forward to a delectable array of homemade and authentically sweet and savoury delicacies including: Sloe Gin smoked salmon with Keta caviar, Dorset brown crab sandwiches, homemade scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream, and gin with lavender mousse.
A delightful selection of gin and champagne cocktails will be served including: Spring Dew, a refreshing tipple made with cardamom-infused Hendrick?s gin, rose liqueur, fresh lemon, pomegranate juice, homemade sugar syrup raspberry puree and Veuve Clicquot Rich champagne; and The Rabbit, a sweet blend of Hendrick?s gin, white creme de cacao liqueur, strawberry jam, fresh lime juice, pomegranate juice and homemade sugar syrup.
Mr Fogg’s Tavern’s resident magician Dee Riley will thrill and excite guests with mind blowing magic, intricate trickery and grand illusions that add another element of frippery and fun to Tipsy Tea!
