The Lion King

Closing at the end of August, the musical re-imaging of the Disney classic ‘The Lion King’ is being performed at the Capitol Theatre and it is one of the most spectacular theatrical experiences around. If you were/are a fan of the animated film then get yourself down to Campbell Street, buy a ticket to the show, sit back and feel your emotions get the better of you.

The Korean Film Festival (KOFFIA)

Running for the fifth year, the film festival has established itself in the city and this year it’s bigger than ever! The Korean Film Festival is touring the country hitting 6 cities and in August it lands in Sydney with screenings of the major blockbuster hits from Korean Cinema as well as the critically acclaimed art-house films. All films are in Korean, however there are English subtitles.

As the sun sets at the Sydney Zoo there are a lot of creatures there that, start to wake up. So if you ever wondered exactly what these nocturnal critters get up to when we’re all snoozing then twilight guide of the zoo. You’ll be able to find out what it is a Koala gets up to when it has woken up after spending 20 hours of the day asleep and learn about the secrets and behaviours of other animals.

Auto Obsession

If you’re as mad about cars as we are at BBM, then you’ll definitely find the time to head over to the Powerhouse Museum and marvil at the 25 featured restored classic historic cars. The exhibit consists of a “curious, eclectic and fascinating collection” of vehicles ranging from the luxury designs to even memorable family cars. A 1955 FJ Holden, a 1965 Ford Falcon XP, and a 1970 Chrysler Valiant Regal VF to list some of the cars on display, so be sure to among the admiring fans.
