Most of us like the Simpsons but how much of the show that has seeped into our brains since its inception in the late 80’s could we actually recall in quiz format? Thursday’s triple headline bill at GoodGod features New Zealand’s Popstrangers who are set to release new album ‘Antipodes’ through Carpark Records, who have also overseen recent releases from Beach House and Toro Y Moi.
Also playing on the night are the home-grown talents of Bearhug and Bored Nothing. Joel Flyger, Adam Page and David Larson formed Popstrangers in 2009 and their jangly kiwi guitar pop has spawned the hit single ‘Heaven’.
