HANGGAI (China) – PEATS RIDGE FESTIVAL SIDESHOW
Saturday 7 January 2012 8:30pm

Releasing their first album, ‘Introducing Hanggai’, in 2008, this is “music that will make you homesick for a place you’ve never been” (Rhapsody). Since that debut, international touring has led to a new richer, more complex blend of Mongolian musical sound with modern rock sensibility, releasing their sophomore album, ‘He Who Travels Far’, which was produced by the likes of Ken Stringfellow (R.E.M., Neil Young), JB Meijers (De Dijk, Supersub) and Solomon Burke. Now in Australia for Sydney festival and Womadelaide, don’t miss Hanggai at this show.
