TOKiMONSTA Releases Free Download

LA native, TOKiMONSTA has released a remix of Missy Elliott track ‘Take Away’, which is available for free download.

TOKiMONSTA, aka Jennifer Lee, is famed for her unique approach to Dance music, combining R&B with Indie-Electronic to make her unequalled sound. With an upbringing in Classical music behind her, Lee is undeniably in tune with the music she creates.

The ‘Take Away’ remix sees Lee rework the original R&B tune into a Chill-Wave Dance affair that doesn’t stray too far from the original. It’s a tune that screams lazy summer days and, if played, will sound amazing amongst the sea of people at Let Them Eat Cake Festival 2014, when she plays on New Year’s Day in 2014.

TOKiMONSTA has received high praise and radio play worldwide and has managed to spark interest in Flying Lotus’ crew/label BRAINFEEDER, which is at the forefront of the LA Dance scene, becoming the first female to join the group. Alongside this, TOKiMONSTA tours the world regularly – most notably she will play at Let Them Eat Cake 2014 – so there are many chances to catch her stunning live show, which combines technology with both musical and multi-media equipment in times ahead.
