
Top 5 Comedians at Perth Comedy Festival This Weekend
The Perth Comedy Festival, Western Australia’s biggest comedy and cultural event is back in town on the 22nd April – 16th May. The festival, sponsored by Coopers Original Pale Ale will be taking place throughout various locations in Perth, including an undisclosed ‘Top Secret’ location, which promises something exciting.
You can expect to see a wide variety of performances, not limited to just comedy; such as sketch, satire, impro, musical, theatre and magic.
Here are our top five acts that you can expect to see:
Aunty Donna – New Show
A Melbourne sketch trio that are surreal, fast-paced and alternative. Now with a very popular YouTube channel, they have also aired a pilot for ABC and currently developing a series for Comedy Central Australia.

Dan Willis – Australia: A Whinging Poms Guide
The British comedian, who has lived in Australia for three years gives his take on what the land down under is really like for the Brits that move there. Guaranteed to be a hit with travellers on their Working Holiday Visas, Expats, Aussies, or anyone that likes listening to a whinging Pom talk about other whinging Poms.

Luke Heggie – Anythink Is Possible
Referred to as relentless and often brutal, Heggie is one of Australia’s most in-demand comedians. This show will pull no punches, so if you’re offended easily it’s best to stay away. He was the winner of the Sydney Comedy Festival’s Director’s Choice Award 2015 so this show will be in high demand.

Another Brit on our list, incase you don’t get any of the Aussie sense of humour. This guy has been likened to a course of steroids, so you know it’s going to be hilarious just from that alone. Also said to have the most famous eyebrows in comedy, and is utterly ridiculous, this one shouldn’t go a miss.
