Coachella, USA
The annual two-weekend music and arts festival is held at the Empire Polo Club in California, located in the Colorado Desert. From the grassy fields and beer gardens, to the joyful vibes permeating the dance tents, the atmosphere at the festival is one of tranquillity and cool paradise. The event embodies numerous music genres including indie, rock, hip-hop, and electronic dance music. The 2015 line-up, with artists like Drake, The Weeknd, and ACDC, was announced on Tuesday 6th January 2015 so be on high alert during the first week of 2016!

Tomorrowland, Belgium
Tomorrowland is a 3-day festival set in De Schorre in Boom, Belgium, a park with lakes, beaches, forest and a natural amphitheatre. The line-up consists of electronic acts and brings a mix of house, dub step, electro, progressive, minimal and trance artists. With a total of 170,000 people, 71 different nationalities unite through the common interest of wanting to fulfil their dreams and have the time of their lives. Every year, the vibe is intensely enhanced by the amazing stage decorations ranging from active volcanoes to explosive butterflies. The 2016 line-up has yet to be revealed, but 2015 featured the likes of Alesso, Avicii, Armin Van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Hardwell and more. Tomorrowland will take place from 22nd – 24th July 2016.

Sónar, Spain
This annual festival of progressive music and multimedia arts in Barcelona, Spain, unites established artists with emerging talent in all areas of musical and audio-visual production. The festival is divided into two main locations: Sónar by Day, located in Fira Montjuïc, and the larger shows at Sónar by Night, in Fira Gran Via de L’Hospitalet, where the leading names in the current international music scene are staged. They have just announced their impressive line-up including Fatboy Slim, The Black Madonna, Kenny Dope, Skepta, Oneohtrix Point Never and many more. The 23rd edition will take place 16th – 18th June 2016.
