How To Rock Perth Day And Night

Western Australia as a hole boasts some of the best attraction that Australia has to offer, many of which are packed within Perth City. This incredible city could be best described as humble, for it is not famous for its nightlife or wild adventures even though it does indeed offer both aspects to a backpackers travel experience. The bonus is, it comes as quite the surprise when discovering Perth truly is an exciting place to be, regardless of what the folks on the east coast may say.

Besides the obvious pros to embarking on Perth to Broome Tours, Perth itself is truly a city which is full with vibe – Here are 3 things to cram into one day whilst staying in Perth.

Kings Park Lunch

I urge you to try and find better city views than what Kings Park has on show! Whilst an evening stroll is quite the craze, on a day out in Perth, Kings Park is a  fantastic eco environment to enjoy lunch whilst peering over the views of the city and The Swan River. Grab your goods at Coles and take a pleasant stroll to the lush greenery inside this stunning park and utilise the free BBQ facilities. Make sure you bring your beach wear because once lunch is done its time to catch a bus to Scarborough beach.

Scarborough Beach

Although I could quite easily suggest Cottesloe Beach, if like me, you enjoy being churned amongst the shore break waves then Scarborough is immensely fun. There is a bus station just on the outskirts of North Bridge and there you can catch a bus (30 minutes ride) to the beautiful and pristine waters of Scarborough Beach. There are plenty of shops to rent body boards and surf the day away. If however, you are quite happy to sun gaze  then Scarborough also has grassy parks to lounge about and sling Frisbee’s around.

Mustang Bar – North Bridge

Mustang Bar is by far the most original and most popular bar/ club in Perth, North Bridge. On Wednesdays, this place truly brings in the backpacker crowd and therefore it is also a brilliant opportunity to meet new people whilst partying and rocking your socks off. This bar regularly hosts live bands  and has an all-round fantastic atmosphere. As we are all backpackers here, we know very well that we may be too busy doing nothing to get out and about during the day, which is why Mustang Bar is such an awesome place to catch your Perth City Vibes in the evening!
