Two Door Cinema Club Announce UK Tour

Two Door Cinema Club have announced an extensive UK headline tour for January and February 2013. This comes just before their highly-anticipated release of new album Beacon on September 3.

The tour will kick off in Newcastle at the O2 Academy on Thursday 24th January, before taking in Manchester, Southampton, Nottingham, Cardiff, Birmingham,Aberdeen, Glasgow, Leeds and finally London’s O2 Brixton Academy on Friday 8th February. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Thursday 30th August fromwww.gigsandtours.com.

The band will perform at Reading and Leeds Festival this weekend, co-headlining the NME/Radio 1 Stage, before hitting the road for four intimate album launch showsthroughout the first week of September in Birmingham, Manchester, London and Dublin.

It’s been a busy month for the Northern Irish trio after selling out their album launch mini-tour in 3 minutes, gracing the cover of NME magazine for the first time and with lead singer Alex Trimble performing at the climax of the Olympic Opening Ceremony.

Beacon is released on 3rd September on Kitsune.
