Experience Uluru Tours Northern Territory 2025
Uluru tours: The Northern Territory (NT) is a vast federal territory in Australia, famed for its Outback desert landscapes. With stirring landscapes and abundant wildlife, the NT offers a variety of experiences, from scenic flights, crocodile spotting, and fishing charters to camel rides, overnight walks, hikes, and waterhole swims.
In the arid Red Centre lie the iconic and most popular landmark, the sandstone monolith Uluru (Ayers Rock), the red-rock domes of Kata Tjuta, the sculpted cliffs of Kings Canyon in Watarrka National Park, and remote Alice Springs.
Uluru is undoubtedly Australia’s most iconic postcard image. Will you make the pilgrimage to the famous Great Rock that looms on the fiery red horizon?
Aside from being a religious place, Uluru plays a massive part in Australian and Aboriginal history. Approximately 500 million years ago, it was part of the ocean floor, which, due to various geographical reasons, gradually became the massive, huge piece of sacred red rock it is today.
Uluru was and still is inhabited by dozens of ancestral ‘beings’ whose activities are recorded at many sites across the rock, some of which can be seen on the base walk.

Alice Springs
Any adventure tour to the Red Centre begins in Alice Springs. Often used as a pit stop as the gateway to a plethora of popular tourist sites, Alice Springs is smack-bang in the middle of Australia and is a hub of Aboriginal art and a great place to plan your outback adventure before you set off, and also grab some last minute essentials before you lose yourself in the great crimson heart of Australia.
Kings Canyon
During your time in Australia’s Red Centre, a visit to Kings Canyon will also unveil yet another epic vista that will leave you feeling dwarfed in comparison. Kings Canyon is a mammoth gorge with rock faces that scale hundreds of metres.
Deep in the gorge, you’ll find hidden rock pools and lush plant life, as well as many animals that call the gorge home, including broad-nosed bats, flocks of zebra finches, the Spinefex hopping mouse, and the thorny devi, to name but a mere handful of the local inhabitants.
Kings Canyon’s most famous spots include the Lost City, Garden of Ampof Amphitheatre, Heart, North and South. However, walking around the Kings Canyon Rim will present enough Kodak moments to last a lifetime.
