Unleash On An Adventure Of Kakadu National Park
Experience waterfalls, crocodiles and 4WD adventure on this epic three-day tour…
With a packed three days in Kakadu National Park, you can explore Australia’s largest national park with the experienced team at Kakadu Wild Expeditions. Experts in the wilderness, wildlife and star attractions, you know you’re going to see the best of this lush outback oasis, so make sure you spare some time to visit it in the Northern Territory.
From Darwin, your first experience on this tour is a warm welcome by the Limilngan-Wulna people, the traditional owners of the land who will give you an insight into the Aboriginal culture with bush tucker, basket weaving, spear throwing and didgeridoo lessons. Onto the Mary River wetlands, jump on a billabong cruise and spot the many saltwater crocodiles that lay in the murky waters, before enjoying the breath-taking sunset from Ubirr, home to 20,000-year-old rock art.
After a night under the stars, you get to take in two of Kakadu’s most spectacular highlights on your second day. Enjoy some 4WD action to Twin Falls and unwind on the sandy banks after a relaxing cruise and walk along the boardwalk. Jim Jim Falls will take your breath away with its sheer 200m height – take it all in at the base where you can swim in the refreshing waters or chill out on the beach for the entire afternoon.
Wake up in the bush camp and prepare for your last day before heading back to Darwin. There are more refreshing spots to escape from the heat with a visit to the plunge pools of Maguk. After lunch, there’s time for one last soak at Gunlom Falls complete with an infinity edge that provides panoramic views of the escarpment country below.
This 3-Day Kakadu Unleashed tour is available with Kakadu Wild Expeditions between April and October. Taking you to the best locations in the park, plus food and camping accommodation, it’s the best example of real Australia you could ask for at just $545pp.
