Wagamama Serves Up New Spring Dishes
If you thought that everybody’s favourite East-Asian restaurant couldn’t get any better then think again. This spring they are serving up new dishes that are taking Australia by storm.
The aptly named Firecracker Chicken will be sure to get the party started. Tenderly marinated and stir-fried with snow peas, red and green capsicums as well as red hot chillies, this dish tingles the tongue with spring onion and a sweet, yet fierce, hot sauce. Don’t let looks fool you as the dish is beautifully garnished with sesame seeds, lime and shichimi spice.
If noodles are more your thing then the new Miso Ramen will be perfect for a spring meal. With ramen noodles, the soup of your choice, ginger-chicken and a topping of fresh carrots, beansprouts, garlic and leek this dish will have you coming back for more.
Another dish that is becoming popular is the Teriyaki Salmon Ramen, but our personal favourite is the Portabello Mushroom Otsunaaji Salad. Unique flavours and spices are combined with portabello mushrooms marinated in cumin, aniseed, ginger and stir-fired sweet potato, chillies and eggplant. With soy dressing and Chinese cabbage, you can taste the authenticity of the food.
