West Coast Blues N Roots Festival First Line Up Announced

The 11th Blues ‘n’ Roots Festival is set to live up to its description as a ‘music lovers festival’ once more, as it announces a line up sure to excite any Blues fan, with acts both new and old set to entertain thousands at Freemantle Park on Sunday 13th April 2014.

The first headliner is none other than John Mayer, the Grammy award winning star continues to gain momentum with his latest release, Paradise Valley, adding to his already huge success. With his renowned guitar skills and honeyed voice, John Mayer certainly lives up to his star status in front of a live crowd.

Dave Matthews Band, the true masters of their trade, will also be performing to a no doubt ecstatic crowd. Known for their live improvisations of songs, this band are sure to deliver something truly memorable and unique. The group’s latest album ‘Away From The World’ is their eighth and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, proving this is a group who continue to reign supreme.

Another huge act are also in the lineup, having sold an estimated 40 million records worldwide, the Doobie Brothers will no doubt get the whole crowd dancing with hits such as Listen To The Music, Black Water, Long Train Runnin’ and What A Fool Believes to name just a few.

Joining these are more great acts Erykah Badu, Boy & Bear, Steve Earle & The Dukes, Gary Clark Jr and Russell Morris.
