In Australia the Australian Childcare Education & Care Quality Association (ACECQA) are the governing body who have set the strict requirements to becoming a childcare worker in the country. ACECQA have posted on its website the full list of qualification that are required to work with children and specifically there are 21 qualification that are awarded in relation to childcare.

These qualifications range from diplomas, certificates III, ECT, First Aid and many more. The full list is available on the ACECQA website as well as qualifications related to other specific areas in childcare in Australia, such as Daycare and Teaching.
