The Roundhouse is pleased to announce the launch party of the 30/30 Album, a compilation of work by new and exciting unsigned artists between the ages of 16-25.
Work created for the album is the result of the 30/30 Project, a groundbreaking youth music project supported by EMI, giving 30 young artists an opportunity to experience a day in the EMI Live Music Studio to professionally record and mix their tracks with top guest producers.
Guest producers who worked with emerging 30/30 artists included Guy Chambers (The Wanted, Robbie Williams, James Blunt), Steve Levine (Culture Club, Beach Boys), Spider Johnson (Lee Scratch Perry, Killa Kela), Bless Beats (Wiley, Ironik), Jim Scalvunos (Gogol Bordello, The Horrors and the Jim Jones Revue) and the legendary Trevor Horn (Seal, ABC, Robbie Williams).
Now in its third year, the Roundhouse is set to deliver an album launch party, with the help of the Roundhouse Ontrack project team. The launch party will take place in the Roundhouse Studio Theatre, and feature many different and contrasting styles of music, ranging from R&B to indie, ska to pop, right through to dub step and hip hop.
