We know it’s a bit old but since discovering that Gotye & Kimbra’s Somebody I used to know is basically ‘Ba ba black sheep’ it’s been on loop at BBM Towers. We don’t know quite why we didn’t realise before that the reason Gotye’s ‘Somebody I used to know’ has been so successful is because he picked a melody everyone is familiar with, turned it off key by half a tone, added in a Genesis type ending and hey presto…number one material as most people in their 20s will find it comforting and nostalgic, but won’t’ realise why. What a clever man he is.

Up on the BBM chart this week is also Usher’s new single Climax, Azealia Banks’ P.U.S.S.Y – clearly those two can’t keep their mind out of the gutter. Be sure to check out Vuvuvultures because it’s really just quite addictive. The Ting Tings and Sleigh Bells are making an appearance, but we’re also cranking things up with Submerse.
