What’s On Our Ipod 671
This week we have a brilliant playlist for you to wrap your ears around. First up, we have the new single from The Presets. ‘Ghosts’ is a stomping techno tune that demands your attention as it builds up into an epic finale. We also have a track from upcoming band The Drunken Midnight Choir called ‘Felicity Bay’, which is reminiscent of the noughties indie era which saw bands like The Libertines break through.
Now, you may know David Lynch as the surrealist filmmaker with his unique cinematic style, but did you know he is also a musician? Lynch introduces us to ‘Pinky’s Dream’, which has been remixed by Trentemøller and features the haunting vocals from Yeah Yeah Yeah’s Karen O. Even weirder still is the video to ‘Germany’ by Idles. It includes a man dressed as a bird dancing around a garden with two small childen, a man casually reading in the background, and a gnome – ‘totes random’.
