Punk’s dead you say? These guys haven’t got the memo. Revolver Upstairs is the place to experience some of Melbourne’s very own hardcore punk rockers with Aviar bringing their ferocious style to this Melbourne institution. The Pity’s, Witness The Treason and Dj Dinosaur complete the line-up, give their debut EP’s a listen if you are not already familiar and come and get your punk on.

Kids Without Bikes ‘Control Freak’ single launch

Australia’s coolest new indie-rock ‘n’ rollers Kids Without Bikes are to officially release their new single ‘Control Freak’ at Revolver Upstairs and perform live with support from Fifth Friend, Nebraskatak and The Black Alleys. Spending last year refining their writing and recording with Little Birdy’s legendary Simon Leach this exclusive event takes place on Friday 8th February 2013.

Chrsitian Vance Live with special guests
Friday 8th February will see Revolver regular Mike Callander perform alongside his label mate Christian Vance who has recently upped sticks to Berlin and toured Europe. Techno and House fans can’t afford to pass this up with Claire Morgan, another Berlin resident performing on the night. Haul Music label boss Craig McWhinney will also be in attendance.

Judge Pino & The Ruling Motions / The Perfections / PBS DJ Mohair Slim

It’s time to let go and dance those blues away to a night of wild soul and reggae music in the company of Judge Pino & The Ruling Motions, The Perfections and PBS DJ Mohair Slim. The Ruling Motions will leave no 70’s reggae stone unturned as they bounce through classic after classic. DJ Mohair Slim will be spinning Soul and Ska and The Perfections will be performing some of their own numbers on the night.

Summer Series with Bicep

Belfast music duo Bicep continue to make waves in the House music/Producing scene with their own take on modern House winning fans the world over. Their new release on Aus Music You/Don’t EP looks set to build on their winning formula with a live performance at Revolver Upstairs including performances from local artists Sleep D, Spacey Space and Isaac Fryar among others.
