Where To Watch The Six Nations In Melbourne
It’s that time again, folks. Lots of burly men in shorts, lots of cheering, lots of excuses to nip to the pub for a couple of hours. Yes, the Six Nations is back. Australia may have snuck back into the Eurovision this year but this tournament is strictly a European only affair. That’s not to say that there won’t be plenty of you in the land Down Under who want to watch, so here’s your best bets on where to watch the Six Nations in Melbourne.
The Imperial
The third oldest pub in Melbourne CBD has just had a makeover. A brand new roof top bar overlooking Parliament house, with a surprisingly hip menu has given this well known sports bar a new lease of life. Watch the match downstairs and then ascend to the rooftop bar for fresh air and great grub.

The Celtic Club
In keeping with the historical venues, next we have Australia’s first Irish Club. And where better to watch Ireland play? Sit swilling a Guinness in a cosy corner as you watch the action unfold before you watch on the club’s big screens. With both a bar menu and the Shamrock Restaurant you won’t have to worry about getting home for your tea.

Crown Sports Bar
If all else fails hit the casino where the sports bar is open right through from 11am on Saturday to 11am on Monday. It’s big games, big names, and big screens here and the atmosphere is guaranteed to be amped. There’s TAB facilities, there’s bar food, there’s a great selection of drinks; there’s all you need really! And even if your team doesn’t win, you still could!
