Wildlife Encounters In Canada’s Great Bear Sea
The Great Bear Sea is one of the last true wildernesses in Canada, if not on Earth. As a result, a sailing adventure through these glassy Pacific waters is full of quite unique experiences.
Populated with orcas, humpback and fin whales, these fjords and mountains are brought to life by sound of trumpeting and singing whales. On land, the Great Bear Rainforest is home to spirit bears and wolves, while you can also encounter frolicking dolphins and sea lions.
Outer Shores Expeditions are providing brand new sailing tours to Great Bear Sea in 2016, so you can experience such extraordinary wildlife, including an in-depth meeting with researchers on the study of whales and on the threats facing the Great Bear Sea.
There are just three departures for Outer Shores’ Great Bear Sea expeditions in 2016: 4th – 12th August, 13th – 21st August, and 22nd – 30th August.
At $5,400pp, these expeditions are catered for only six – eight guests who want to see one of the most precious yet unprotected ecosystems in the world.
