WOLFCLUB SHARE THEIR LOVE FOR ALL THINGS NOTTINGHAM, UK & THEIR LATEST MUSIC PROJECTS Based between Nottingham and London, WOLFCLUB have enjoyed a steady rise to stardom since forming in 2014. Their music has accumulated millions of Spotify streams and received BBC Radio airplay, while their 2018 LP Infinity was the highest selling album in the world on Bandcamp in the first week of its release. 2019 album Frontiers fared even better, reaching #7 in the Billboard Electronic Album Sales chart, #5 in the iTunes Electronic Dance US chart. The new single ‘Just Drive’ was just released, which is also the name of the forthcoming album via label New Retro Wave. Combining retro synths, delicate guitar strings and angelic vocals Just Drive is a majestic dose of nostalgia, as can also be seen in the groups ‘80s inspired visuals. New to this album is the addition of the sax, which can be heard across many of the tracks.

What is unique about the place you live, or is it famous for something?
I live in Nottingham UK, it’s famous around the world for Robin Hood, accurately portrayed by both Kevin Costner and Russell Crowe in the hollywood movies.
Through lockdown, what has been your favourite thing to do at the weekend?
Really enjoyed watching films, writing music, walking, watching boxsets, and Pizza. Lots of Pizza.
Have you visited any wicked local glamping or wild sites throughout lockdown?
A place called Dovedale near where we live, it has (almost) mountains, valleys, and a river.
Any side hustles or skills you want to share with us?
Chris: Pro Tennis Player
Steven: Pro guitar player. Kind of.
What cheeky banger has been playing through your speakers on repeat for the last 6 months?
I’ve been obsessing over Holly Humberstone’s track ‘Overkill’. She’s from Nottingham also and I think she might be the huge breakout act of 2021.
Favourite Friday night dinner at home or restaurant?
Pizza. All kinds, all the time.
What current projects are you working on?
Our new album Just Drive: Part 1 is out on the 5th March, (pre-orders available now) and we are finishing off Just Drive: Part 2, mixing, mastering, then releasing that later in the year.
