Womadelaide Announces 25 More Acts!

Womadelaide has revealed another 25 acts for the Botanic Park event staged from Friday 8th to Monday 11th March during the Adelaide Festival.

The latest installment – announced at the Adelaide Festival program launch -is a smorgasbord of incredible new sounds and mind-blowing live talent from 18 countries including:

Dhafer Youssef/ Manjiri Kelkar/ Sudha Ragunathan/ Jordi Savall/ LAU/ Seth Lakeman/ Abigail Washburn/ Kai Welch/ Psarantonis/ The Correspondents/ The Soweto Gospel Choir/ Mari Boine/ Zoe Keating/ Jimmy Cliff/ Hugh Masekela/ The Cat Empire and The Herd/ Amparo Sanchez/ Nidi d’Arac/ Shunsuke Kimura and Etsuro Ono/ Mara! & Martenitsa Choir/ The Savoy Family Cajun Band/ Wunderkinds Tuba Skinny/ Maestro/ and Hugo Mendez in one of the festival’s late-night DJ sessions.

The full program will also include the introduction of The Planet Talks – a series of panel discussions and ideas concerning the welfare of our world,
Artists In Conversation, Taste the World cooking presentations from some of the festival’s music stars, the hugely popular festival parade, a revamped KidZone children’s entertainment area, dance workshops for all ages, the Healing Village, and Global Village.

Womadelaide’s full program of over 60 remarkable acts from 30 countries
will be released on 22 November 2012.
