The legendary rap collective are set to release their 20th anniversary album ‘A Better Tomorrow’ on 28th November through Warner Bros.
Comprised of members RZA, GZA, Method Man, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God, Masta Killa, and Cappadonna – each member a successful solo artist in their own right – Wu-tang Clan have sold over 6.5 million records in the US, and nearly 40 million records worldwide as well as group sales collectively.
Over the past 20 years, the group have released five studio albums and 19 compilation albums. Each of their first three albums – Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), Wu-Tang Forever and The W – have been certified platinum by the RIAA, with Wu-Tang Forever having debuted at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200.
Wu-Tang came to the fore in 1993 based in Staten Island, New York, and proved to be one of the most revolutionary rap collectives of the mid 90s. Turning the standard concept of a hip-hop crew on its head and were assembled as a loose congregation of nine MC’s, which has seen each of them have exceptional solo careers.
