Ylvis: Creators Of The Weirdest Song Ever? WATCH
If you haven’t yet seen comedy duo Ylvis’ video for ‘The Fox’, firstly, where have you been? And secondly, prepare yourselves for the oddest experience of your life.
The internet is awash with bizarre images, videos and – lets be honest – people, so when stumbling across Ylvis, a musical comedy duo, and being literally scared/amused/worried/intrigued/all of the above, it was a sign that we hadn’t yet been fully conditioned to think the weird world we’ve come to live in is actually normal. Phew.
What we’re talking about, however, is Norwegian brothers Bard and Vegard Ylvisåker, who go by the name of Ylvis, and who’ve created possibly the weirdest song. Ever. It’s like ‘Gangnam Style’ all over again but with talking foxes and a heap of animal onesies. Need we say more?
No we needn’t, have a listen for yourself:
We told you it was odd!
The internet sensation have amassed almost 50 million views for their track ‘The Fox’ and nearly five million for their earlier release ‘Stonehenge’ (see below) alongside performances on the Ellen Degeneres Show and iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas where they performed in between slots by Katy Perry and Chris Brown.
Ylvis have just been signed by a Warner Music off the back of ‘The Fox’, so expect to hear a lot more from them soon.
