Youth Lagoon Announce Shows

Youth Lagoon returns after the release of his debut album and sell-out tour for a series of intimate shows in the grass sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne.

The shows are at The Factory in Sydney on Saturday, July 28 and at The Corner Hotel in Melbourne on Sunday, July 29. Supports will be in the form of Sures who are already making waves on radio after being unearthed on triple j, they’ll be bringing their blissed out guitar surf pop to the Factory Theatre and the Corner Hotel.

For Sydney’s ears only Bearhug will be preforming. Known for their warm tempos, hazy vocals and ringing guitar melodies that draw influence from the likes of Broken Social Scene. Their take on guitar pop is a dreamy and romantic affair, perfectly fitting with the lush sounds of Youth Lagoon. Bearhug will open the stage for Sures and Youth Lagoon in Sydney.

And last, but not, least opening the stage in Melbourne 21-years-old, Jack Vanzet, A.K.A Thrupence, The electronica beat maker has mastered emotive down-tempo music and quickly attracted an underground following.

Youth Lagoon coupled with a talent packed lineup of Sures, Bearhug and Thrupence, will surely make for some amazing evenings.
