Best Places to Celebrate St Patrick’s Day!

Whether you’re Irish, Italian or Indonesian, St Patrick’s Day is always a great day for a party. The national holiday of the Emerald Isle is celebrated world-wide and not only in the clichéd way; there’s more to it than drink! We’ve all seen the pictures of famous buildings lit up shades of shamrock or rivers dyed as green as a leprechaun’s coat. Extravaganzas of traditional Irish culture are put on in cities across the globe; dance, song, music and much more in performances and parades, as well as plenty of parties.

No matter where you happen to be in the world, you won’t be too far from some form of green gala so get ready to throw yourself into the spirit of things with a ceilidh dance and a pint of Guinness. Here are our suggestions for some of the best places in the world to celebrate St Patrick’s Day!
