What’s your favourite thing to do/place to go when you’re not working? 

Love taking a day trips when I am not working and Brisbane is the ideal place to live to access the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast with just a short drive. 

If you only have 3 nights to escape where would you recommend people go on a mini road trip?

Byron Bay for a quick mini break is a must, beautiful beaches and stunning hinterland. Byron Bay has it all. 

If someone is planning an East Coast Australian Road Trip, could you suggest a 10 day itinerary? (if you would like to change the location, please do) 

My suggest to get the most of our a 10 day East coast road trip I would suggest driving from Cairns to Brisbane. I would start by travelling to Cape Trib. Where the reef, meets the rainforest and stunning coastal drives. Day 2 I would suggest driving to the Atherton Tablelands and chase waterfalls for the day finish the day by driving to Mission Beach. Day 3 Start with a Skydive you are guaranteed to land on the beach here. I would finish in Townsville and catch the ferry to check out Magnetic Island. Day 4 I would travel to Airlie Beach and on Day 5 it is a must to spend a day out on a boat on the Whitsunday. Helpful tip make sure your day tour to Whitehaven travels to Hill inlet you will not be disappointed. Day 6 I would hit the road again stopping near Mackay at Fintch Hatton gorge where hopefully I would spot some platypus. 

I would finish the day in Rockhampton a beautiful Aussie town. 

Day 7 I would travel onto town of 1770 for some lunch and finish my travel in Rainbow Beach. Day 8 I would spend the day travelling Fraser Island it is a must on an East Coast road trip. Day 9 I would travel to Noosa and enjoy some dinner in one of the many amazing restaurants. Day 10 I would set off early to Brisbane and spend the day sightseeing in Brisvegas. 

Jam packed my biggest suggestion would be to travel for at least 14 days, so much to see, so little time.

For someone who has never done a road trip by camper before, what would you say are 10 essential items to pack? 

• Australian sim card for your mobile if travelling remote area has to be telstra. 
• Maps/GPS
• Sunscreen 
• Camera 
• Sunglasses
• Hand sanitiser 
• Reusable water bottle
• Light rain jacket
• Insect repellent 
• Sun hat

Always have insurance when hiring a camper van. Take to hire companies insurance or look into a third party.
