Combined with the fact that the hotel also doubles as a sports bar – boasting a state-of-the-art sound system with six HD TVs, plus comfortable seating and a terrific view – the Bat and Ball is bound to become every sports fan’s new favourite place!
But don’t be too quick to judge, as the Bat and Ball doesn’t just limit itself to one category! Also exhibiting a top-notch diner, ‘The World’s End’ boasts a fantastic range of delicious dishes, wines and ciders, even offering a kid’s menu too. With a range of weekly food promos, every week day offers a special dish at a discounted price. Foodies will be happy to hear that on Mondays and Tuesdays, any homemade pie is only $10 between the 3 and 6pm happy hour time slot – and you can treat yourself to a local schooner, house spirit or house wine for all under $5 too.
Sundays also bring with them a ‘best of British’ Sunday Roast, keeping in with the new British theme of the pub. For only $15 you can choose from a beef, pork, chicken or lamb roast with all the trimmings; it’s the self-confessed best ‘value for money’ roast in Sydney!
Between the 5th and 22nd December, the Bat and Ball are also serving up delicious Christmas dinners for just $25, including a turkey & ham roast with all the trimmings, a dessert and a cracker for every guest – what’s not to love?
