Blizzard Releases ‘You Came To Mine’
Bradley ‘Blizzard’ Green shot to internet notoriety when his rap battle with former teacher Mark Griss hit YouTube, which garnered 5 million views. With this push, plus a few years of consistent hard work, Blizzard released his debut EP in 2012, ‘Sooner Than Never’.
Not only did it reach #18 in the iTunes album selling charts, but it also gathered support from BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra along with some big industry names such as Ed Sheeran, Rizzle Kicks, and Misha B to name a few.
In the next two years, with virtually no team behind, he continued making powerful tracks and crashed onto the 1Xtra B-List, along with playing some huge gigs alongside Jessie-J, Naughty Boy, Emeli Sande and Glastonbury. Young, but passionately driven, he was also chosen as one of the ‘Hot 10 for 2013’ by the listeners of 1Xtra, as anyone who listens to him can hear the talent pouring itself out into the dynamic story he creates with his words.
Now, with the new year, Blizzard shows no signs of slowing down, as he proves with his latest release ‘You Came To Mine’. Here, we see him teamed up with R&B sensation Shakka to create a melodic goose bump enhancing chorus, neatly complemented with Blizzard’s punchy raps.
